Envirohealth (S) Pte Ltd is an Approved Training Organisation and specialise in training Food Safety and Hygiene and independent audits. We have more than 20 years of experience in conducting the Food Safety course from Level 1 to Advanced Level.
All Food Handlers have to undergo and pass the Food Safety Course Level 1 (FSCL1) . SFA defines a Food Handler as:
Any person who handles and prepares food and beverages in food establishments licensed by Singapore Food Agency (SFA). Chefs, sous chefs, cooks, kitchen assistants, food stall assistants, and food manufacturing workers are considered food handlers as they are primarily involved in food manufacturing and preparation. Food manufacturing and preparation may involve activities such as culturing, canning, deboning, cutting, defrosting, cooking, packing of food in raw or cooked form, among others.
With effect from 1 January 2023, food handlers from both retail and non-retail food businesses would be required to pass WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1.
We offer the following:
WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 (FSC L1) English & Chinese
6 hours training + 1.5 hour assessment.
Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, a Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded to the participants. This will enable the participants to work in food and beverage preparation / pre-requisite to operate a food shop/stall. Envirohealth (S) is SFA /SSG Approved Food Hygiene Training Provider. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and premises
WSQ Food Safety Course Level 2 (FSC L2)
6 hours training + 1.5 hour assessment.
Upskilling for food handlers. WSQ FSC L2 builds on the foundation of WSQ FSC L1 to drive a deeper understanding and greater application of food safety principles. Food handlers interested in upskilling can attend WSQ FSC L2, which will equip them with the know-how on conducting food safety checks in personal hygiene, goods receiving, food storage and food handling.
Course syllabus:

Microorganisms associated with foodborne illness
Food safety and hygiene lapses and corrective actions
Preventing food contamination – 5 Key Food Hygiene Principles –
Principle 1 – Practise good personal hygiene
Principle 2 – Use safe ingredients
Principle 3 – Handle food safely
Principle 4 – Store food safely
Principle 5 – Maintain cleanliness of equipment and premises
Methods of conducting inspection checks on food safety and hygiene standards at work areas
Conduct food safety and hygiene checks
At the end of the course, participants will be required to undergo a 1.5 hour assessment (written and practical)
WSQ FSC L1 (Refresher) English & Chinese
By 5th year from the date of first passing the WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1. Valid for 10 years thereafter. Syllabus, as per FSC L1.
WSQ FSC L1 (Assessment Only Pathway)
1.5 hour assessment
Participants undergo the assessment without attending training. Must provide evidence that they have some prior qualifications.
